Gingerbread House Raffle to Benefit Dover Children’s Home

eCoast's Bill Bourdon created a 100% edible gingerbread house. Tickets were raffled to win the beautiful gingerbread house which raised money for the Dover Children’s Home.

Wish Upon a Star

Wish Upon a Star

2011 marks the 4th holiday season that eCoast has participated in the New Durham “Wish Upon a Star” program. For nearly thirty years, this program has brought smiles to the faces of children whose families are experiencing extremely difficult times. “Wish Upon a Star”, provides coats, boots, mittens, scarves, hats, and wishes to over 125 children. Numbered stars, which represent a child and their wishes and holiday needs, are distributed to employee volunteers. Employees purchase one or more of the items written on the star. These items are then given to an eCoast volunteer who helps with the sorting and delivery of the gifts to the families in need.

Gerry’s Food Pantry Food Drive

eCoast employees donated over 300 items and eCoast donated 5 turkeys to the pantry. Gerry's gives out Thanksgiving food baskets every year to those in need. This year brought in a record-breaking 900 turkeys.

DKMS

Bone Marrow Drive For DKMS

DKMS is a non-profit organization that recruits bone marrow donors for patients with leukemia. On average, 20 people register during a drive and 10% of employees register. eCoast employees came out in force so and registered 75 employees, which rounds out to 50% of our employees. eCoast participated in “No Shave November” headed off by team managers Scott Behan and Colin McCarthy. Through their coworkers’ sponsorship and company match, the event raised over $500 to be donated to the Dover’s Children Home.

Caring and Sharing Food Drive

eCoast also took part in a food drive sponsored by Soft Rock 98.7 The Bay and WTSN AM 1270 called Caring & Sharing; New Hampshire and Southern Maine's largest canned food drive. Thanks to all of the generous donations, eCoast came in at second place with 615 items.
